Mint Lemonade

Summer is in full swing here in Oklahoma which means refreshments are in order. Something that really hits the spot on a hot day is lemonade. Here is my version

Mint Lemonade

2 Tbsp. Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice

2 1/2 Tbsp. Agave Nectar

16 oz. Bottled Water

4 Mint Leaves

First you must juice the lemons.

Then pour 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice into a large drinking glass.

Then add the Agave Nectar. You can add more if you prefer it sweeter.

In case you don’t know what Agave Nectar looks like when it is bottled, here is a pic for you. It is usually found by the honey in the grocery store.

Then add the bottled water.

Stir. Then collect 4 fresh mint leaves from whatever source you have. I have chocolate mint in my garden and I think it is amazing with lemonade. You can use whichever mint you prefer, or can find. Crush the leaves with your fingers to release the oils. Stir again to incorporate the minty flavor and enjoy!
